What a workspace holds
A workspace can hold account details, studio profiles, project facts, uploaded photographs and documents, optional voice recordings and transcripts, sources, credits, rights, campaigns, drafts, comments, exports, members, connection details and usage history. Connected performance services can add the selected properties’ search and website metrics.
How information is used
Project material is used to provide the workspace features you request. Workspace membership is checked before project actions, exports and file access. A public draft should only use confirmed facts that the studio has marked as public.
AI processing
When a studio starts an AI task, or enables a recurring plan, OpenAI receives the material needed for that task. This can include selected website sources, permitted images for optional visual analysis, or a recording submitted for transcription. Editorial writing uses confirmed public facts. Visual observations, transcripts and generated suggestions require review and do not establish project facts or rights. AI discovery sampling sends the question you approve; optional web search can consult public sources.
Files and sharing
Originals, recordings, derivatives and exports use private storage. Download links are authorised and expire. Reviewers do not receive original-file download access. Planned provider pathways may make an approved social post, CMS draft or newsletter handoff available only after the owner separately configures and authorises that provider. Those external paths remain unverified in the current pilot. Once material is downloaded, delivered or published, Atelier cannot retract every copy.
Connections
Where an owner configures a supported external service, they can revoke its connection. Saved provider secrets are encrypted and excluded from workspace archives. Connection and publication outcomes are intended to remain visible in the workspace. Removing a connection does not delete content already held by that provider.
Retention and deletion
Unpaid workspaces may be removed after 30 inactive days. Paid work is intended to remain readable and downloadable for 12 months after editing access ends. Owners can request workspace export and deletion from workspace settings; deletion must complete file and record cleanup before being reported as complete.
Before public launch, Atelier needs a seller-specific privacy notice with data-controller details, contact method, legal bases, processor information and applicable regional disclosures.
